The 3 Sigma Cameras That Showcase the Foveon Sensor
by Nilofer Khan
February 24, 2026
Sigma has been creating cameras for several decades, but the company has not achieved the same level of fame as other camera brands. While Sigma is better known for its lenses, its cameras, particularly those with the Foveon sensor, continue to be discussed. No matter how unusual the designs were, the sensor itself was remarkably ahead of its time, allowing one to capture great images thanks to the vertical placement of the red, blue, and green photodiodes. So, here is a quick look at the device.

In recent weeks, reports of Canon launching a new camera have dominated news cycles. While some believe it is the imminent launch of the Canon R7 II, there are also suggestions that the company may introduce a full frame camera. Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art DG II Review: 3 Things You Need to Know
by Chris Gampat
February 24, 2026
If only you could see the look on my face when the Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art DG II came in for review. For many years, I've preached the beliefs of Bigma -- and that all the Art series lenses were insanely large. But the past few that I've gotten in for review have truly surprised me. No longer does a mechanized woolly mammoth shedding its winter coat feel like it's attached to my camera -- hungry for photos and constantly dragging me everywhere, even against my will. Instead, Sigma somehow got the new Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art DG II to be around the same size as the LUMIX 35mm f1.8 S, which I own. And it's even got a 67mm filter thread. Of course, that's because it's clearly going after the Sony variant.

Nikon Z 70-200mm f2.8 S VR II Review: Nikon’s Best Zoom Yet
by Chris Gampat
February 24, 2026
I truly couldn't believe what I was holding when the Nikon Z 70-200mm f2.8 S VR II was put in my hands. But hear me when I say this: that lens is the lightest zoom of its kind that I've held in years. And it's not only that: it delivers beautiful image quality -- especially when you combine it with the Nikon Picture Controls. Plus, it focuses really closely, boasts weather resistance, has a new arca swiss mount tripod mount, and incorporates some of Nikon's latest imaging tech. One question, however, was really on my mind: how do you make the original that much better?

Canon R6 Mark III Review: The One Big Thing Holding it Back
by Alberto Lima
February 23, 2026
The R6 Mark III represented an ambitious upgrade over the R6 Mark II and seemed to offer significant spec bumps in some areas. That said, with an (over)emphasis on the camera’s video features, I was hesitant to really give this one a shot. Did Canon make me a believer?

Is Sony About to Build the Ultimate Low-Light Beast With This 16MP Sensor?
by Nilofer Khan
February 23, 2026
Sony has been one of the companies whose cameras truly affected the industry. Models such as the RX100, the a99, and the A9 III are examples of where Sony tried something new and succeeded. It now appears the company is keen on introducing a new sensor, one that can possibly help low-light photographers and videographers a lot.

by Nilofer Khan
February 23, 2026
The release of documents of the convicted sex offender, Jeffer Epstein, has sparked controversy for a major U.S. school photography company. Per reports, there have been online claims of alleged indirect links between the firm and its individuals in the Epstein files.
