An Important Tamron 35-150mm Lens Review Update
By Chris Gampat
February 17, 2026
Recently, here at the Phoblographer, we've been working on investigating more of what's going on with the Sony a7V. We published our review with updates and even updated all our Viltrox lens reviews. Reviews Editor Alberto Lima did the initial review, and then I did the updates. The standard here at the Phoblographer is that we try to get multiple testers from our team to have hands-on time with each product because we then find new things each time. But something really shocked me enough to have to update our Tamron 35-150mm lens review.

Nikon has launched interesting cameras over the years, but only a handful have stood the test of time. While the company introduced some exceptional full-frame models, they also took the time to launch APS-C devices that have been on par with their bigger siblings. An example is the Nikon D500, which changed the way pros view smaller-sensor cameras. Here's why the model still shines today.

The Two Best High-End Cameras From Nikon
By Nilofer Khan

Nikon cameras have had the hearts of many professional photographers. For instance, the FM2 was popular amongst photographers such as Steve McCurry, and the Nikon F was used by Don McCullin and Larry Burrows. In the digital era, things began to change, with many serious photographers opting for the Nikon D3 or the D850 as their best options. But while the SLR era sees its end, it raises the question of what one can rely on if they are looking for something similar in the mirrorless era. Here are the two options you must consider.

By Nilofer Khan
February 16, 2026
When choosing cameras, many photographers go for trusted brands. For full frame, you have Leica, Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Panasonic; for APS-C, you have Canon and Fujifilm. Just like that, Micro Four Thirds users often choose between Olympus and Panasonic, much of which is based on the user interface, brand visibility, and price point. It now appears that a Chinese brand is here to disrupt the camera market a bit. Here's how.

The Way Digital Photographers Ruin Their Own Work
By Chris Gampat

If you've never shot a roll of film, this article is for you. Too many times, I've read or heard photographers tell me the same thing. It often goes like, "I won't shoot film because it's not worth the money when digital gives me such a good look." And that, truly, is missing the entire point. Sometimes photography is about getting to the end result. But many other times, photography is about the process and how you've created the photo. Often, that's significantly more important and making the image in-camera definitely makes you much more of a photographer than a post-processor.

By Nilofer Khan
February 16, 2026
Canon has always had an exceptional lens system. The company's EF and RF ranges, for instance, offered a plethora of options. Examples such as the 85 mm f1.4, the 70-200mm f4, or the 100-400mm f5.6-8 are lenses often loved by users. It now appears the company is broadening its horizon with the development of a new tilt-shift lens. Have a look.

How Instagram Made You a Terrible Photographer
By Chris Gampat
February 16, 2026
Instagram made a really big problem in the photography world. It has turned so many photographers into artists who post everything there instead of on their website where there is copyright protection and so forth. What it means that if photographers of all sorts have more or less given away the keys to their kingdom. And now, the Golden Hoard of AI is at our doorsteps ready to take everything we've worked so hard for in the name of capitalistic gains.
