Keeping in line with the others, this one too is small and lightweight, but just like with the iT30Pro, it has a few interesting tricks up its sleeve.

When it comes to full frame cameras, Sony is one brand that people often rely on. The company has created some wonderful offerings which continue to be loved by many. The 7Artisans 135mm f1.8 Got New Firmware. It’s a Great Sports Lens Now
by Chris Gampat
June 9, 2026
"Yo, the Nikon Zf is a beast at sports photography," is what I texted the Phoblographer's staff after getting home from a soccer game and using the camera along with the 7Artisans 135mm f1.8 lens. We published our review a while ago, and now we're announcing our update to it along with the new firmware that has been released for the lens. That opening statement alone is something that will set the tone for the rest of the review.

The Yashica Funtastic is a Better Kodak Charmera (Hello Kitty Edition)
by Chris Gampat
June 9, 2026
When the Yashica Funtastic was announced, I asked our team who wanted to review it. But before they could respond, I went and bought the camera myself -- specifically in the Hello Kitty edition. Why? Well, if you look at it primarily as a camera, then you're missing the point. Similar to the Kodak Charmera, this camera is a much more affordable version of the higher end cameras. When Sabrina Carpenter uses her Contax, it's a toy to her to enhance her fun. With nowhere near her resources, the Yashica Funtastic is a similar thing for the rest of us who didn't get mommy and daddy's money or that didn't have great foundations for Maslow's hierarchy of needs. I could, and should finish this review right here. But I'm not.

Why You Don’t Need the Most Expensive Camera
by Chris Gampat
June 9, 2026
Here on the Phoblographer, I've interviewed many photographers who own some of the highest-end Sony cameras and buy them for the super-fast frame rate capabilities. And recently on Reddit, I saw a post from a user who upgraded from the Sony a7r V to the Sony a1 II to photograph their dog. One of the biggest changes was that they immediately went up to 300 photos a session. So I'm writing this article to remind everyone of a really hard, honest, truth.

When it comes to choosing a good camera, there are various factors that one must keep in mind. Fujifilm, a brand that is known to make some wonderful models, also has some great offerings in terms of design. A viewfinder, for instance, is an important element that many photographers rely on. Here are some options for those who want the best in class.

The Camera Hack That Transforms Your Images Into Fine Art
by Nilofer Khan
June 8, 2026
When it comes to making fine art photographs, one often relies on the best cameras and lenses. Although a lot relies on one's vision, a good piece of gear can certainly help one to reach a better place. In a time when mirrorless cameras provide a similar-looking aesthetic for many image-makers, some are turning to older cameras to create distinct narratives. How are they doing so? Well, with a technique called circuit bending.

How a Bunch of Fanboys Ruined Fujifilm
by Chris Gampat
June 8, 2026
Several years ago, I decided that the Phoblographer wouldn't cover APS-C cameras anymore with very rare exceptions. And if you read the room in the camera world, it's easy to see that brands saved all their good tech for full-frame and medium format and then gave APS-C and small format cameras those features as a mere pittance. Fujifilm didn't necessarily do that all the time, but the GF series surely does have significantly better image quality than X-series. When the company launched the X Pro 3, it was met by a bunch of YouTubers and others who'd never shot film or even understood the experience of life outside of an EVF. With that, they brought with them the desire for Fujifilm to be a lot more like Sony. That's how they've ruined Fujifilm.
